When Grama Deep was launched in 2015, Kovvali village especially the main road was dotted with garbage piles accumulated for years together.  It regularly took up multiple missions to improve the sanitation of the village.  Grama Deep also launched 'vuuriki prematho' campaign on February 14, 2016 and lifted hundreds of trucks of garbage to the dumping point. 

To maintain a clean village, regular and scientific disposal of waste is highly inevitable. In partnership with the grama panchayat, Grama Deep launched and carried out door to door garbage collection with the tractor and truck dinated by an industrialist from a village from his company, VELJAN Denisson Pvt. Ltd Corporate Social Responsibility funds of Rs 700,000/- . It also has set up mechanism for making compost from the wet waste collected. 

Grama Deep undertook several programs to improve sanitation in Kovvali village with community contribution. The drains on the roadsides were cleaned, weeds and shrubs cleared.
